For mature audiences only

The following are public service announcements meant to help and inform. Take what you need and disregard the rest. Venting helps prevent thoughts from turning into tumors. Handle it.

–If you cannot respond to someone’s hurt or heartbreak with compassion or an ounce of warmth, don’t respond at all. Seriously. Go in peace, but umm…yeah…go.

–Metropolitan Ministries still needs Thanksgiving donations.

–If you are sincere, bugger off until after the first of the year. This next month and a half is going to be rough – and you only know the half of it. If you aren’t sincere, bugger off indefinitely.

–When a comment, statement, post, or behavior irritates – stop and think, does this person love me? If the answer is yes, love them back and ignore it. Understand it. Understand *them.* Why? Because love is hard to come by and not worth jeopardizing just because someone’s Biblical references are annoying.

–If the person doesn’t love you, and the stance is hurtful not just annoying, say goodbye. A relationship without love drains energy and devotion away from those who deserve it.

–You never worked with or studied with Lisa Kudrow. Never. You took classes at the Groundlings and were never asked to be a part of the main company. Your husband was the cashier. Cry about it.

–Say you’re sorry. Defending yourself doesn’t make the hurt go away. Learn from it.

–Before joining Facebook or Twitter, you should write a blog for at least twelve months. Learn to breathe through constructive criticism – online communication doesn’t come with any tone of voice except your own. Then. Still. Don’t join Facebook.

–Feelings aren’t right or wrong.

–It’s not okay to send threatening emails. It’s not okay to make threatening phone calls.

Go John, go.

–What is wrong with you people?

–Don’t disappear for months or years at a time and then get in touch and expect the person to do anything other than MULL IT OVER.

–I am not really a know-it-all. I just play one online.

–If you don’t like what you see here, don’t read it. Seriously. Don’t go away mad, but umm…yeah…go away.
