Color Me Surprised

Turns out, I have some views that even surprised me.

I support Israel’s covert assassination program instead of war. Remind me to cry for Iran’s nuclear scientists some other time.

Cameras at Dover aren’t such a great idea. There are better ways to honor our fallen soldiers.

Moderate Muslims are clearly sometimes just as batshit crazy as their fundamentalist counterparts. Obviously.

Senator Charlie Crist isn’t the worst case scenario.

We disagree on the cameras at Dover. War has it’s cost and as a Vietnam Veteran, I believe it is an atrocity to allow the public to keep its collective head in the sand while these brave men and women continue to occupy foreign soil. It was this very kind of disturbing ceremony repeated day in and day out during Vietnam that contributed to the end of that war. War ain’t pretty, neat or convenient, Kate.

So, Crist must be on Twitter.

Crist’s basically mad ethe shredest and wisest decision of his political career by not adhering to the Bush party line… er, I mean REPUBLICAN party line of divide and conquer. And while he loses the arch-Neo-Con/Libertarian base of the party, he gains independents and Democrats who can respect him even if they don’t always agree with him.

When you see Mel Martinez, Jeb and his son George P. (George P. Bush? Can’t they get any original names in that family??!) speaking ill of Charlie… well, you just raised his stock 5 more points.
