I Don't Know
Jim Johnson, of The State of Sunshine fame, and I made a bet and the loser had to post congratulations to the Other Guy who would soon become governor.
Right. Doesn't make much sense to me either at this hour. However, I'm a woman of my word so I'll post my obligatory letter tomorrow morning.
About five hours from now. And I thought today was a long day.

I'm glad that the election is over and the right guy got into office. Of course I'm referring to Matthew (Skeeter) Abbott for Mosquito Control Commissioner, Seat 2.
That was a close one. Now we can rest assured that our mosquitoes will be properly controlled. I wonder what Skeeter's stance on mosquito torture is?
What? They actually have elections for mosquito commissioners? Give me a break. Soon we will be electing Parade commissioners.
